Description
This Fulbright Scholar award, funded by Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, supports a combination of teaching and research in Austria at Campus Urstein or Campus Kuchl. Scholars teach at least two courses in the university’s master’s programs, with each class meeting weekly for 90 minutes. Activities may also include advising advanced students, supervising their work, and developing joint research projects with faculty. Course content and research objectives are agreed with the host institution according to its needs and the scholar’s expertise.
The award seeks academics, professionals, and artists whose work matches the university’s specializations. Alongside scholarly exchange, it promotes mutual understanding and cooperation between Austria and the United States. Scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community.
