Description
Funded by the Regional Universities Network of Australia (RUN) through the Fulbright Scholar Program, this award supports collaborative research at the network’s six member universities. One scholar undertakes a four-month research project within one of three shared themes: Crops and Foods for the Future, Health and Well-being of the Regions, or New Industries. Scholars choose a primary RUN host and may visit other member institutions to develop research collaborations.
The award supports RUN’s contribution to regional economic, social, cultural, and environmental development. It also advances Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between the United States and other nations through international understanding and cooperation. Alongside research, scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with their host communities.
