This scholarship, funded by the Australian Opera Awards Committee and administered by Fulbright Australia, enables emerging Australian artists in the operatic arts to pursue advanced artistic practice, research, training, or professional development in the United States. The program aims to foster artistic excellence, support cultural and educational exchange between Australia and the U.S., and nurture the next generation of Australian operatic talent. Eligible projects may include performance training, vocal studies, artistic residencies, research, collaborations with U.S. opera companies or conservatories, or other professional development activities, with an emphasis on contributing to the Australian operatic sector upon return.
