This award supports one American scholar to spend 3–5 months during the 2027–2028 academic year at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. The scholar will conduct independent research and/or teach a course, with opportunities to co-supervise postgraduate students and participate in academic life through lectures and events. The award is part of the Fulbright-Schuman Program, which aims to foster research and study on US-EU relations, EU policy, or EU institutions. While the main affiliation must be with the College of Europe in Belgium, applicants may propose research activities in other EU Member States if coordinated with the host institution.
