The Fulbright Scotland Distinguished Scholar Award at Edinburgh offers a prestigious six-month fellowship to one senior scholar annually at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH), University of Edinburgh. The program is designed to foster academic exchange, interdisciplinary research, and collaboration within the vibrant intellectual community of IASH. The recipient will have access to a private office, full library borrowing rights, and opportunities to participate in seminars, lectures, and community engagement within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Scholars are expected to contribute to the academic life of the university through public lectures, research seminars, and curriculum development, as well as to engage with students and staff informally.
