The Fulbright Specialist Programme allows UK universities and other eligible institutions abroad to host distinguished U.S. academics or professionals for short-term collaborative projects. Projects may include seminars, workshops, curriculum development, consulting, lecturing, or institutional assessments. The program is designed to foster international academic and professional collaboration, offering host institutions global perspectives and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with U.S. counterparts. For the 2026–27 cycle, all projects must include a component related to America’s 250th anniversary (“Freedom 250”), focusing on themes such as American history, values, culture, or related supplementary programming.
