Key Information: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and have teaching and research experience; Finnish residents and permanent residents are ineligible.
Description
Jointly funded by Tampere University and the Fulbright Finland Foundation, this award supports scholars undertaking both research and teaching at Tampere University. Scholars conduct a research project and teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses of their choosing, developing activities with the relevant host department, faculty, or research program. The university’s multidisciplinary research spans technology, health, and society.
Eligible fields are represented across seven faculties: Information Technology and Communication Sciences, Management and Business, Education and Culture, Medicine and Health Technology, Built Environment, Engineering and Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. The award promotes knowledge exchange, international understanding, and lasting academic links between Finland and the United States. The Foundation seeks applicants who advance their disciplines, facilitate positive change, and address national or international challenges.
