This award enables eminent U.S. scholars in any discipline to spend one semester at a French university, engaging in teaching, research, and academic collaboration. Grantees serve as guest faculty, teach graduate and/or doctoral courses (totaling 60 hours over at least 12 weeks), give public lectures (including at least three outside the host institution), mentor and advise students, and participate in the academic life of the host institution and broader community. The program aims to reinforce Franco-American academic ties, promote international understanding, and foster lasting institutional partnerships.
