Description
The Fulbright-Turku UAS Scholar Award is jointly funded by the Fulbright Finland Foundation and Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland. It supports teaching at bachelor’s and master’s levels and participation in research, development, and innovation projects with Turku UAS faculty. The award focuses on business administration or engineering and technology, with the detailed project emphasis agreed with the scholar according to their expertise.
Teaching primarily serves master’s programs combining problem-based learning, lectures, seminars, e-learning, and independent work in cooperation with business life. Applied research addresses development needs of industry and other organizations. Scholars may also mentor students, contribute to curriculum development, and engage with the host community, supporting Fulbright’s goal of international understanding and stronger U.S.–Finnish relationships.
