Description
The Fulbright-Université de Montpellier Award supports scholars conducting a research project of their choosing and collaborating with colleagues at the University of Montpellier in France. Projects may be hosted by an affiliated academic department, institute, laboratory, or research center. All disciplines are welcome, with preference for research related to food safety, the environment, or human health.
These priorities align with Montpellier’s I-SITE program of excellence, which brings together 16 institutions around the objectives “to Feed, to Protect, to Care.” The award also advances Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between the United States and other nations through international understanding and cooperation. Alongside research, scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community.
