Description
This Fulbright Distinguished Scholar award supports one scholar for six months at the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. Scholars contribute to the Faculty of Humanities through seminars, public lectures, curriculum development, research, and teaching. Applications are welcomed across all disciplines and specialisations within the Faculty, which spans social sciences, arts, business, education, and environment-related disciplines.
Supported activities include independently chosen research, undergraduate or graduate teaching, student advising and mentoring, faculty or program development, and professional or artistic projects. Alongside academic work, the award advances Fulbright’s mission of mutual understanding between the United States and the United Kingdom. Scholars engage with their host community and can participate in academic, cultural, and social events organised by the US-UK Fulbright Commission.
