The Fulbright-University of Oulu Scholar Award offers U.S. scholars the opportunity to conduct research, or a combination of research and teaching, at the University of Oulu in Finland for a period of 3 to 9 months. The award is open to projects in any discipline represented at the university’s eight faculties, four multidisciplinary research centers, or regional units. The program is designed to foster multidisciplinary collaboration, promote educational and professional exchange between Finland and the United States, and create scientific and societal impact within Oulu’s vibrant academic community. The award is jointly funded by the University of Oulu and the Fulbright Finland Foundation.
