Description
This Fulbright Scholar Program award supports a three-to-nine-month project at the University of Roehampton in south-west London, working in or across its research-active departments. All disciplines and appropriate specializations are welcome. Supported activities include research, teaching, combined teaching/research, and professional or artistic projects. Scholars may pursue their own research or host-designated work, teach undergraduate or graduate courses, and advise or mentor students.
The award also advances Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between the United States and other nations through international understanding and cooperation. The US-UK Fulbright Commission seeks potential and established leaders whose academic, artistic, or professional work contributes to key issues in their fields. Community engagement complements the main project, with opportunities for public talks, mentoring, and academic, cultural, and social events.
