Description
The Fulbright Scholar Program and the University of St Andrews support one distinguished U.S. academic to conduct research or combine teaching and research in Scotland. Open to all disciplines, the fellowship contributes to the University’s intellectual life through research, seminars and public lectures. Scholars can pursue a project of their choosing, access research collections, institutes and centres, teach undergraduate or graduate courses, mentor students, and assist with faculty, curriculum or program development.
The award encourages lasting research links at St Andrews and across the United Kingdom. The University champions curiosity-driven research and cross-disciplinary collaboration across arts, divinity, science and medicine. Alongside academic work, scholars advance Fulbright’s mission of international understanding through engagement with their host institution and wider community.
