Description
This award enables U.S. scholars to undertake research and/or teaching in any field represented at the University of Turku, Finland. The program is designed to foster academic collaboration, professional development, and cross-cultural understanding between Finland and the United States. Scholars may work within any of the university’s eight faculties or several renowned research units, including the Turku Bioscience Centre and the Turku PET Center. The award is jointly funded by the Fulbright Finland Foundation and the University of Turku.
Scholars are encouraged to collaborate closely with their host department or research program at the University of Turku to design a mutually beneficial project. In addition to research or teaching, awardees may be involved in mentoring, curriculum development, and engaging with the local academic and broader community.
