This award enables U.S. scholars to conduct high-quality research and some graduate or doctoral-level lecturing at the University of Vaasa in Finland for periods of 3–12 months. Open to all fields represented by the university’s four schools—Accounting and Finance, Management, Marketing and Communication, and Technology and Innovations—or its four multidisciplinary research platforms (VEBIC, Digital Economy, InnoLab, Preparedness and Resilience), the award aims to foster international academic collaboration, promote innovation, and strengthen U.S.–Finland ties. In addition to research and teaching, scholars are encouraged to engage with the university community through public talks and mentoring.
