Open to any discipline and locations across Australia, the scholarship supports research programs that enhance bilateral relations and embody the Fulbright mission of educational and cultural exchange.
The award combines a research stay of up to eight months with participation in the wider Fulbright exchange experience. Recipients receive a monthly living stipend, travel support, and Commission guidance before and during their program. Projects should contribute to the Australia–U.S. relationship, while time at the host institution and participation in Fulbright activities support academic collaboration and mutual understanding.
