The Fulbright-VTT Award in Science, Technology and Innovation enables U.S. scholars and professionals to undertake a 4–6 month research visit at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. The program is designed to promote international research collaboration on contemporary issues in science, technology, and innovation. Scholars may either join existing VTT projects or propose their own research agendas, benefiting from VTT’s multidisciplinary community and advanced research infrastructure. The program particularly encourages projects in areas such as quantum technologies, microelectronics, industrial biotechnology, biomaterials, computational materials engineering, nuclear energy (especially small modular reactors), and hydrogen, though all relevant STEM fields are welcome.
