Description
Funded by the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) through the Fulbright Scholar Program, this award supports one visiting professor undertaking a flexible combination of teaching and research in Vienna. Scholars conduct research of their choosing and teach at least two advanced undergraduate or graduate courses, with content, format, and level agreed with WU. Courses meet weekly for 90 minutes, and activities may include advising or supervising advanced students.
WU seeks interdisciplinary interests and approaches across business and related disciplines. Fulbright Austria prioritizes scholarly excellence, comparative approaches, bilateral relevance, and opportunities to establish or strengthen institutional relationships. The exchange promotes mutual understanding between Austria and the United States; scholars may also be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community.
