Description
The Fund for Greene County is a community fund of East Tennessee Foundation supporting opportunities to advance and improve residents’ quality of life. Established in 1993 by local donors, it provides a lasting resource for achieving community goals and promoting Greene County. Funded projects must demonstrate the potential for significant community impact.
Past support focused on food insecurity and hunger, including locally sourced food activities, farmers markets, Farm to Table initiatives, and programs serving children, teens, seniors, and other underserved people.
