Description
The Helmholtz Association, through Helmholtz AI, supports exploratory and innovative approaches in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning. This seventh funding round aims to initiate and facilitate activities addressing cross-center challenges and AI methods. It particularly encourages high-risk, high-gain projects and collaborative work that includes or is co-created with additional partners to support transfer.
The program brings together field-specific excellence and AI/ML expertise to improve the quality, scalability, and rapid availability of new methods and tools. By fostering creativity across disciplines and identifying similarities between applications, Helmholtz AI seeks to build a community-wide network connecting research and practice across Helmholtz centers.
