Description
The American Association of Endodontists Foundation supports the growth of endodontic science through Competitive Research Grants and Resident Research Awards. Competitive grants fund rigorous, innovative, technically sound research relevant to endodontic practice. The program welcomes work addressing pressing clinical questions or advancing fundamental basic science to improve endodontic education, patient care, and the specialty.
Competitive proposals receive scientific review by the AAE Research and Scientific Affairs Committee, with awards made twice yearly. Resident awards provide support for individual research projects, supplementation of competitive grants, and other research-related activities. Primary resident funding can also support travel to present research or attend a board review course. Secondary funding supports residents who have used their initial award toward research.
