This grant supports doctoral and postdoctoral fellows, as well as eligible project managers, affiliated with ongoing Research Council of Norway-funded projects to undertake research stays abroad. The scheme aims to increase international experience among young researchers, strengthen Norwegian research through global networks, and foster knowledge exchange. Stays abroad must be between 3 and 12 months and can be divided into periods of at least 3 months each (if justified in the application). The scheme is open to research fellows and project managers linked to approved Norwegian research organizations, including those in industrial and public sector PhD schemes, as well as FRIPRO-funded Early Career/Young Talent projects.
