Key Information: Workshops must take place before the end of 2026, and applicants must be FuseNet member institutions.

    Description

FuseNet supports small-scale educational workshops in fusion that bring young talent together with experienced researchers. Events take the form of masterclasses on a dedicated topic, with interaction between experts and students central to the programme. Workshops are organised for either MSc or PhD students and typically last between two and five days.

The call is supported by the European Commission through the EU-funded EUROfusion project, which implements activities described in the Roadmap to Fusion during Horizon Europe through a joint programme of consortium members. This is a cascade-funding opportunity: the EU-funded project awards and pays the support itself. The 2026 call supports workshops taking place before the end of that year.
