The Future Leaders Exchange Abroad (FLEX Abroad) program, administered by the American Councils for International Education and sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, offers fully funded scholarships for American high school students to spend an academic year studying and living in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Poland, or Romania. Participants live with host families, attend local high schools, and serve as citizen diplomats, building leadership skills, intercultural competency, and lasting international relationships.
