The Future Leaders in Psychiatry Program (FLIPP) is a year-long, hybrid (virtual and in-person) workforce development initiative by the American Psychiatric Association (APA). It is designed for students at accredited U.S. four-year universities who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine and psychiatry. The program features a comprehensive curriculum, including virtual lectures on career development, a Kaplan MCAT preparatory course, detailed guidance on the medical school application process, mentorship from current medical students, and participation in the in-person Future Leaders Academy.
