The Future Security Fellowship, offered by New America Foundation’s Future Security program in partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), supports two sets of fellows: ASU Future Security Fellows and Future Security Program Fellows. The fellowship empowers experts from diverse fields—including journalism, academia, and the creative arts—to explore and illuminate complex issues shaping the future of security. Fellows are supported to produce and publish innovative work, which may include investigative journalism, books, documentaries, podcasts, or other media, addressing topics such as military operations, political transitions, global violence, technology, terrorism, and regional conflicts.
