Description
The Future Works Grant, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, aims to strengthen workforce development services for new or expanding businesses across the Commonwealth. The initiative funds Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs) working in partnership with private employers, labor organizations, educational institutions, and economic development agencies to deliver tailored workforce strategies. The grant targets early workforce challenges, supports the development of skilled talent pipelines, and promotes job quality and business stability in Pennsylvania’s competitive economy. Projects must directly serve businesses in specific priority industries and demonstrate strong, cross-sector collaboration.
