Funder: Foundation for Women's Cancer
Due Dates (Anticipated): December 2026 (Full proposals) | October 2027 (LOI)
Funding Amounts: $100,000 for one year
Summary: Supports molecular profiling of endometriosis to identify therapeutic targets and understand links to endometriosis-associated ovarian cancers.
Key Information: Research must take place at a U.S. institution, with SGO membership, an SGO co-investigator, or an SGO sponsor.
The Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) supports innovative molecular profiling of endometriosis to identify dysregulated pathways, advance understanding of disease biology, and reveal actionable therapeutic targets. The goal is to translate discoveries into more precise and effective treatments that augment—and ultimately may reduce or replace—the need for surgical intervention.
The grant also supports investigation of the molecular and precancerous links between endometriosis and endometriosis-associated ovarian cancers, particularly endometrioid and clear cell ovarian cancer. It is part of FWC’s 2026–2027 Research Grants Call for Applications, within the Multi-Type Gynecologic Cancer Grants category.
