Summary: Supports research on folate receptor alpha expression throughout ovarian or endometrial cancer progression to improve treatment decisions and outcomes.
Key Information: Research must take place at a U.S. institution; non-SGO members need an SGO co-investigator or sponsor.
The Foundation for Women's Cancer (FWC) offers this Genmab-supported grant through its 2026–2027 Research Grants Call for Applications, under Multi-Type Gynecologic Cancer Grants. It supports research into folate receptor alpha (FR α) expression levels throughout the disease trajectory of ovarian or endometrial cancer. Priority goes to work that advances understanding of expression changes during progression, potentially informing treatment decisions, enabling more precise patient stratification, and improving clinical outcomes.
The program also highlights unmet needs in rare histologies across ovarian and endometrial cancer. These include real-world testing and monitoring, disproportionate health outcomes in certain demographic groups, and quality of life. Representation of underserved populations is highly valued during review.
