Description
The FY 2026 USDA Equipment Grant is administered by the Colorado Department of Education’s School Nutrition Unit through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service Equipment Assistance Grants. The unit competitively awards funding to eligible school food authorities participating in the National School Lunch Program.
The program supports equipment that helps schools serve healthier meals meeting meal patterns, with particular emphasis on increasing fruits and vegetables. Equipment may also improve food safety or support the establishment, maintenance, or expansion of the School Breakfast Program. These priorities focus funding on equipment supporting school meal preparation and service.
