Description
The Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) administers this Adult Education and Family Literacy Act Section 231 grant for eligible organizations or consortiums of providers. It supports comprehensive adult basic education services within geographic regions encompassing the areas served by WTCS educational districts.
Funded services for adults may include literacy, workplace adult education, family literacy, English language acquisition, integrated English literacy and civics education, workforce preparation, and integrated education and training. The educational scope includes Adult Basic Education and Adult Secondary Education at grades 0–12.9, and English Language Learning at National Reporting System levels 0–6.
