Description
The Wisconsin Technical College System administers this Perkins V grant to improve high school students’ transitions to postsecondary education. It funds activities that enhance students’ technical and academic skills, create opportunities for transition to college, or jointly develop additional Programs of Study with one or more secondary partners.
Funded work should supplement a college’s existing efforts to improve transitions for secondary students and complement school districts’ Career Prep Reserve Grants. In designing activities, colleges are encouraged to consider how to close achievement gaps for all students, allowing greater participation and completion.
