Description
The Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) administers this Perkins V grant to improve outcomes in career and technical education programs of significant size and scope. Strengthening Programs projects must directly maintain or improve at least one Perkins V Core Performance Indicator. Applicants may seek to raise overall performance or close a performance gap within a program.
The category can support instructional materials and technology, curriculum changes, faculty or staff learning, tutoring, and student advising or case management when tied to the proposed improvement. Applications must show the program-level need using actual Perkins performance data and identify the students and indicator the project will affect. The 2027–28 guidelines cover the program year from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028.
