Description
The Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Board awards Professional Growth grants for professional growth activities and occupational competency training. The program supports Wisconsin technical colleges’ efforts to recruit, retain, and mentor faculty of color, as well as work that develops instructors’ awareness of and expertise in newly emerging technologies.
Supported work can also bring learning technologies into curriculum and instruction or use instructional methods that incorporate emerging technologies. These priorities connect faculty development with classroom practice, giving colleges a way to strengthen instructors’ occupational and technological knowledge and put that knowledge to use in teaching.
