Description
This program provides supplemental federal funding to Massachusetts local school districts and consortia to improve English language acquisition and academic achievement for English learners (ELs) and immigrant children and youth. Administered under Title III, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, the grant aims to:
- Support ELs in attaining English proficiency and meeting challenging academic standards.
- Enhance the capacity of teachers, administrators, and school leaders to deliver effective instructional programs.
