This grant provides targeted planning funds to first-time Early College partnerships in Massachusetts—collaborations between K–12 secondary schools and higher education institutions. Its goal is to support the design of Early College programs that align with statewide Guiding Principles and Designation Criteria, helping schools reimagine the high school experience and blend it with college coursework. The initiative is specifically aimed at increasing college access and postsecondary success for students who are underrepresented in higher education. Funds may be used for planning activities, staff stipends, professional development, consultant support, and limited pilot programming.
