This opportunity supports the operation of the MassLINKS Adult Education Virtual School (AEVS), a statewide, fully virtual program delivering Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) services. The selected provider will be responsible for recruiting, enrolling, instructing, assessing, advising, and supporting adult learners—particularly those not served by existing programs. The program combines synchronous and asynchronous instruction and aims for a monthly enrollment of 780 learners across all 16 local workforce development areas. The initiative prioritizes high-quality, culturally competent, and multilingual instruction to help learners obtain secondary credentials, transition to postsecondary education or training, improve literacy and career skills, and support family educational development. Collaboration with workforce partners and a focus on reducing educational disparities are integral to the program design.
