Description
This grant funds the operation of MassLINKS, a statewide Adult Education Virtual School system that delivers fully virtual Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) services across Massachusetts. The program is designed to reach adult learners not currently served by existing programs, offering both synchronous and asynchronous instruction. The initiative aims to help eligible adults earn secondary credentials, transition to postsecondary education or career pathways, improve English language and math skills, and support parents in enhancing their families’ educational and economic opportunities. The program emphasizes inclusive, high-quality instruction, cultural competence, and collaboration with workforce partners to address and reduce educational disparities.
