This grant provides supplementary funding to Massachusetts public high schools and districts to support the planning and early implementation of the My Career and Academic Plan (MyCAP) process. The MyCAP initiative is designed to improve college, career, and civic readiness for all students by developing a comprehensive, school-wide scope and sequence across personal/social/mental health, career development, and academic planning domains. Funding is intended to help schools form diverse planning teams, engage in professional development, conduct meetings outside school hours, and develop or launch MyCAP initiatives tailored to students’ strengths and interests.
