Description
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s state-funded continuation grant supports school-wide action plans developed by FY2026 Fund Code 0335 Action Planning grantees. It also supports former Implementation and Support grantees in continuing, expanding, or extending their work. Participating schools use plans developed after completing the Safe and Supportive Schools Self-Reflection Tool and addressing all six elements of its framework.
The program aims to create equitable, safe, positive, healthy, culturally competent, and inclusive learning environments. It also supports coordination of services and initiatives that promote student behavioral health and wellness. Former Implementation and Support grantees may additionally help other schools and districts begin or advance this work.
