Description
The Arizona Department of Housing’s FY2027 State Housing Trust Fund Housing Solutions program supports shelter and housing projects across Arizona. Eligible work includes constructing, renovating, expanding, or operating emergency shelters and transitional housing facilities. Transitional housing must provide non-congregate housing for individuals and families for stays of up to 24 months. The program also supports construction or renovation of other shelter or housing that the department determines will best serve people who are seriously mentally ill and chronically resistant to treatment.
Emergency shelter construction, renovation, and operating expenses receive first priority. Transitional housing construction and renovation follow, then other shelter or housing for the specified population. Projects may create new beds or units or support existing ones.
