Description
This competitive grant, administered by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), is designed to support public school districts, charter schools, regional schools, and collaboratives in strengthening English as a Second Language (ESL) programming and services. The program pursues two main goals: (1) the adoption, development, or implementation of high-quality ESL curricula, and (2) the creation of "grow your own" ESL teacher hubs to expand and diversify the pipeline of ESL educators.
