Description
This grant provides supplemental federal funding to Massachusetts local education agencies (LEAs) and eligible consortia to support English learners (ELs) and immigrant children in attaining English proficiency and meeting high academic standards. Funds may be used for effective language instruction programs, professional development for educators, and activities that enhance family and community engagement. The program is designed to help districts build capacity to serve ELs, promote equity, and align with state educational priorities.
