Description
This program funds Florida local law enforcement agencies and county detention facilities to support federal immigration law enforcement efforts. Eligible activities include specialized training, certified apprenticeships, subletting detention beds to ICE, transporting unauthorized aliens, participation in federal task forces, bonus payments for credentialed officers, and acquisition of essential equipment, hardware, and software. The program is designed to enhance local capacity for cooperation and coordination with federal agencies, in compliance with Florida statutory and regulatory requirements.
