Description
The State Assistance for Fentanyl Eradication (S.A.F.E.) grant is a Florida state-funded initiative designed to support local law enforcement agencies in combating illegal fentanyl activity. Administered by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Office of Criminal Justice Grants, the program reimburses approved agencies for operational costs incurred during fentanyl-related investigations. Eligible costs include overtime, travel, investigative supplies, equipment, contractual services, and training that directly support fentanyl eradication efforts.
