Description
The Nevada Arts Council’s Arts Learning Express Grant supports short-term arts education led by qualified teaching artists or groups. It serves hosting organizations, public institutions, and eligible teaching artists through active, hands-on learning in the arts or traditional cultural practices. Projects must address arts education, arts integration, arts for social development, or therapeutic art making, with activities suited to participants’ skill levels.
Programming must include four to 20 educational contact hours. Projects must demonstrate artistic excellence and merit, clear objectives, achievable outcomes, and an authentic, collaborative commitment to inclusion and accessibility. Applicants must provide a clear schedule and evaluation plan. For pre-K–grade 12 programming, activities must connect to Nevada content standards in fine arts, English language arts, or social studies.
