Description
The Nevada Arts Council’s FY27 Folklife Community Grant supports projects involving folk artists and culture bearers. Projects must focus on folk arts or traditions practiced, valued, and shared within culturally specific communities in Nevada. Festivals, cultural events, concerts, and gatherings that bring traditional artists, cultural specialists, and community members together are among the eligible activities.
The grant supports the work of presenting these projects, including artist fees, facilities, production, materials, promotion, and travel. Review considers the artistic excellence of participating folk artists and the project’s artistic merit in relation to the cultural community it represents.
