The Gabor A. Established in 2002, this prestigious award is supported by the Gabor A. and Judith K. Somorjai Endowment Fund and is designed to recognize innovative contributions that have propelled the field of catalysis forward. The award consists of a $10,000 honorarium, a certificate, and reimbursement of up to $2,500 for travel expenses to attend the ACS meeting where the award will be presented.
