Description
The Garite Mini-Sabbatical Grants, offered by the Foundation for SMFM, provide funding for practicing maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists and MFM fellows—including international SMFM members—to undertake a focused research project or clinical training experience with a mentor at another institution for up to eight weeks. The aim is to encourage professional growth, knowledge sharing, and the acquisition of new clinical or research skills that are not available at the applicant's home institution. The grant was inspired by Dr. Thomas Garite’s commitment to advancing the field of maternal-fetal medicine.
