Description
The Garman Family Foundation, administered by the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, supports initiatives that create lasting, meaningful outcomes for individuals and stronger, more resilient communities. Its three priorities are mental health, food security, and housing in Western New York. Organizations may request support for capital, general operations, or programming.
Mental health funding covers clinical care, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and support services, and workforce development. Food security funding supports community gardens, food-system improvements, food distribution, and technology or capacity needs. Housing funding focuses on emergency housing needs and transitional supports that help individuals and families move toward stable, long-term housing. The foundation offers two grant cycles each year.
